I'm back on the road again, this time to Baltimore for ACRL. But before I leave, a few items to review and discuss amongst yourselves:

• Is this the portrait of a teenage Jane Austen? And did she get all swoony whenever she heard an awesome Haydn concerto?
• Think the shelvers at Beaverton City Library in Beaverton Oregon should get an extra $100 a year for not wearing jeans to work? I do.
• Why is one of the biggest academic journal publishers hosting arms fairs? Not only am I wondering, so are editors of The Lancet.
